Introduction
Hey News fans! It's that time again - Happy Hit-box Monday!
This week we're going to share some brief information on how exactly critical damage is (currently) calculated in World of Tanks: HEAT as well as share the health stats for Chopper, Fantôme, and Akira. Please keep in mind that this is a work in progress and these calculations are subject to change. As a reminder, currently all modules have a recovery time of 8 seconds.
Crit Damage
When a shell penetrates the tank and hits a crit damage zone, the following calculations occur:
- Damage = Shell Damage x Shell Crit Multiplier x Crit Zone Multiplier. All tanks have similar values for crit zone multipliers.
- Engine crit multiplier = 1.0
- Fuel tanks crit multiplier = 1.0
- Ammo rack crit multiplier = 1.5
